Sunstone is a beautiful stone. It's the stone of Leo and Libra. It's elements are fire and air and it works with the sacral chakra and solar plexus. It is a stone of leadership, benevolence, strength, abundance of blessings and enlightened male energy. It is a stone of personal freedom, power and expanded consciousness.

Sunstone is an oligioclase feldspar mineral with of 6 to 6.5. It is also known in some reference books as Aventurine Feldspar, a name derived from the stone's resemblance to an accidentally discovered type of glass known as a ventura. It has a triclinic crystal system and usually occurs as compact aggregates.
