Vintage Button Earrings, Mother of Pearl MOP Buttons, Wood Buttons, Layered Button Earrings, Drop Dangle Earrings, Handmade Earrings

Vintage layered button earrings consisting of brilliant mother of pearl MOP buttons painted with reddish brown stripes layered over vintage wood buttons. The mother of pearl buttons glow with iridescence of pink and turquoise. I constructed the earrings with antique brass colored copper wire, including the hand made ear wires. The earrings are 2" long and very light weight at 2 gm each.

My earwires are handmade. I carefully construct and smooth them so there are no sharp edges and the wires slide in and out comfortably.

All of the buttons I use are old, some extremely old. Most have been used on clothing, which means they can show signs of wear. Scratches, worn finish, and the occasional chip are to be expected. I do my best to show these in my photos.
