Here is a beautiful vintage white flower mother of pearl button that I mounted on a larger olive green celluloid pressed wafer button to form a lovely art deco style pendant. I love the contrast between the colors and textures of the buttons, the smooth rainbow finish of the MOP and the earthy embossed surface of the celluloid. I hung it on a weighty oxidized 18" sterling silver rope chain.

All of the buttons I use are old, some extremely old. Most have been used on clothing, which means they can show signs of wear. I do my best to show these in my photos.
