This pendant is the marriage of two mother of pearl buttons, one golden and one silver grey. The larger button is as luminous as mother of pearl gets! You can see every color in the rainbow and it shines assertively. The smaller button is quieter and has an antique brass mounting. I love the two together. Nothing would do for this pendant but a vintage 14k gold chain.

All of the buttons I use are old, some extremely old. Most have been used on clothing, which means they can show signs of wear. I do my best to show these in my photos.
