Vintage Smoky Carved MOP Button Pendant Necklace, Mother of Pearl, Rhinestone Button, Blue Casein Button, Sterling Silver Chain

Here is a vintage ice blue smoky carved mother of pearl button and rhinestone button pendant necklace. I started with a beautiful carved blue MOP button, 1" wide, with a six pointed carved snowflake pattern and mounted a lovely blue casein button with a bright vintage rhinestone in the center. What a perfect combination! The base button shines with blue and silver iridescence. I finished with a silver pendant bail and I hung the pendant on another vintage piece, a lovely oxidized sterling silver bead and bar chain, 20" long. The result is a beautiful layered button necklace you will be proud to wear or give as a gift.

All of the buttons I use are old, some extremely old. Most have been used on clothing, which means they can show signs of wear. I do my best to show these in my photos.
