Vintage Smoky MOP Button Pendant Necklace, Mother of Pearl, Layered Button Necklace, 24" Gold Chain, Button Jewelry

Here is a smoky mother of pearl vintage MOP layered button pendant necklace. I started with a 1 1/4" smooth contoured button with edge bead and added a gold tone modernist detail set with purple glass stone that I salvaged from a cast off piece. I finished with a gold plated pendant bail and I hung the pendant on another vintage piece, a sturdy textured gold plated sterling silver chain. The result is a beautiful layered button necklace you will be proud to wear or give as a gift.

All of the buttons I use are old, some extremely old. Most have been used on clothing, which means they can show signs of wear. I do my best to show these in my photos.
