Working with the right materials is extremely important to make it possible to braid the perfect beaded Kumihimo braid!
For instance: if you use thread that is to thin for the beads you are using, the beaded braid will become to loose. Or if the slots of your disc are a little worn out, there is not enough tension on your threads and it becomes very difficult to braid tight enough.
Itâs frustrating when the braid doesnât look as nice as you had hoped.
When you use the right materials itâs almost impossible to fail is my experience! I gave a starters kit to my niece of 12 years for her birthday and right away her first fully beaded braid was perfect!
